Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Admin and Outreach Assistant to support both administrative operations and community engagement efforts. This role involves handling office tasks, coordinating logistics, and conducting fieldwork to build relationships with schools, churches, and other institutions for survey administration and partnership development.
The ideal candidate should be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable engaging with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and files related to outreach and program activities.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other administrative materials.
- Handle logistics for meetings, trainings, and events, including venue bookings and materials preparation.
- Support in financial tracking, budget documentation, and expense reporting.
Outreach & Relationship Building:
- Conduct visits to schools, churches, and community organizations to establish and maintain partnerships.
- Facilitate the distribution and administration of surveys or program materials.
- Engage with community leaders, educators, and stakeholders to promote organizational initiatives.
- Collect feedback and insights from outreach activities to improve program effectiveness.
- Represent the organization at external events, forums, and meetings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Administration, Social Sciences, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in administrative support, outreach, or fieldwork roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other administrative tools.
- Comfortable working independently and traveling locally for outreach activities.
- Experience in community engagement, marketing, or field research is a plus.
