MyDreamConnect TECH BOOTCAMP aims to ensure every young individual has access to Top In-Demand skills, to acquire knowledge that will enable them to create a career path, become financially independent, and be able to sustain their families and add value to their nation and its economy, this is in response to our commitment towards contributing to the achievement of the UN SDG Goal 8 (DECENT WORK & ECONOMIC GROWTH).
This program will provide a holistic learning experience covering essential technical skills and preparing participants for a successful career in their chosen learning track

TRACKS | DESCRIPTION |
TRACK 1: PROGRAMMING | Intermediate Programming Concepts Advanced topics in programming (e.g., object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures). Practice sessions and coding challenges to enhance problem-solving skills. Web Development Introduction to web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Building web applications using frameworks like Flask or Django (Python) or Node.js (JavaScript). |
TRACK 2: DATA SCIENCE | Advanced Data Analysis: Statistical analysis and hypothesis testing. Machine learning fundamentals including supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms. Applied Data Science Real-world projects and case studies in data science. Practicum: participants work on a data science project from data collection to model deployment. |
TRACK 3: DATA ANALYSIS | An Introduction to data import, data manipulation; introduction to data handling; basic graphical methods and numerical summaries; writing simple reports of a data analysis; basic concepts of statistics (populations and sampling); confidence intervals for means and proportions; testing for differences in means and proportions; p-values. |
TRACK 4: UI/UX | User Interface (UI) Design Principles of UI design, user-centered design. Tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch for UI prototyping. User Experience (UX) Design Understanding user psychology and behavior. Usability testing, wireframing, and prototyping. |
TRACK 5: DIGITAL MEDIA MARKETING | Digital Marketing Fundamentals Overview of digital marketing channels (social media, email, SEO, PPC). Crafting marketing strategies and campaigns. Analytics and Optimization Tools like Google Analytics for tracking and analyzing campaign performance. |
Eligibility: Designed for African Youths, male and female, ages 15 to 35 with basic formal education (primary) and the ability to use a computer and speak English.
We intend to admit 50% male and 50% female into the programme.
