MIRROR

MY MIRROR
There is always a need to stand in front of the mirror and see the image staring back at you. How do I look? Has there been a change from what I saw last week, last month, or last year? Is my body complexion the same? Is my body shape still the same? Have I gained or lost body mass?
Self-reflection involves looking into the mirror and describing yourself. It’s a means of assessing yourself concerning your behavior, perception, experience, interactions, and achievements. It’s a moment of sobriety looking into yourself to determine whether there has been a change, either positive or negative, about you.
Self-reflection helps you grow, strategize or re-strategize, spot opportunities and threats, gain clarity, and make better decisions. This goes beyond meditation. Putting your thoughts into writing allows you to delve deeper and review your results.
Personally, I love connecting with nature when reflecting on myself. Its serenity takes me to depths in my thoughts that I wouldn’t have accessed in just any environment. Ask yourself difficult questions about where you are now and where you want to be physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, financially, in your career, and in your purpose. Stay away from distractions, be open to building new relationships, and maintain gratitude.
Reflect on yourself by analyzing what was done, what happened, and what you could do differently.
Do something different today by taking out a bit of your time to reflect on yourself. It’s not only refreshing but also rewarding in the long run.
Happy reflecting!
